IS THERE ANY DEVICE TO DECODING MINI DV TAPE TO COMPUTER WITHOUT THE CAMCORDER?

I fresh prefabricated a short movie with my friends and we were dealing the camcorder. Now we already convey the camcorder but we hit no instance to intercommunicate it. Is there some figure to intercommunicate the mini dv enter to machine without using a camcorder? Thx!

    There’s nothing like the previous poster suggested – that’s for VHS-C only. MiniDV tape decks are available, but they’re more expensive than a camcorder. Your only realistic options are to get hold of another camcorder and find a PC with a firewire connection or get someone else to capture (not render) it for you.

    you can rent a MiniDV tape deck, but those are about 200-300 bucks for rental for a day. Try to borrow another camcorder and capture the footage with that.
