CAMCORDER HELP…?

I am in a rattling big perplexity correct now. I fresh bought a Panasonic HDC-SD1. I hit been hunting and shopping for cameras for a patch now, with the “parameters”, I surmisal as you would call them, being
-3 ccd
-microphone input
-headphone jack
-good drill controls
-under $1000
After searching, I came crossways the HDC-SD1. According to B&H Photo, the camera met all of my specifications above, so after a pair of weeks of pondering it, I definite to buy it. It eventually came in today, and when I went to test, I institute there was no headphone mini jack.
I surmisal my discourse is, is there some artefact to block headphones into this camcorder with a convertor or something finished the component, composite, hdmi, or usb outputs?
